Lead technical development and build cutting-edge solutions for a leading live sports streaming technology company. Take technical responsibility, lead a developer team, work across product, design, and operations to shape future sports streaming solutions.
Main requirements:
  • Several years of backend development experience in Java environments, preferably with Quarkus, Spring Boot, or similar Jakarta EE-based frameworks.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience coaching developers.
  • Deep knowledge of microservice architecture, event-driven design, and reactive programming.
  • Experience with modern cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and container technologies (Docker and Kubernetes).
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead and coach a team of developers, set guidelines and promote best practices.
  • Make architectural decisions in collaboration with the product team.
  • Plan sprints, estimate tasks, and follow up on deliveries with the Scrum Master.
  • Design and implement distributed microservices in Java with a focus on performance and scalability.
  • Write clean, testable, and maintainable code, preferably following TDD principles.
  • Evaluate and introduce new frameworks and tools in the technology stack.
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure high code quality.
  • Create an innovative and inclusive team culture where knowledge sharing is natural.
  • Own performance and security testing, continuous integration, and deployment processes.
