Lead the Network Analysis Regional Network North-Middle department at Vattenfall Eldistribution AB, contributing to Sweden's energy transition and secure electricity supply by managing and developing the regional network dimensioning and design with focus on new and existing customers. Responsible for department results, development, and goal fulfillment with a collaborative leadership style in a dynamic and socially impactful role.
Main requirements:
  • Minimum five years leadership experience in network operations or infrastructure-intensive industry
  • Proven ability to lead teams and achieve results through others
  • Experience in driving change and developing both business and individuals
  • Communicative and responsive leadership style inspiring and engaging others
  • Strategic ability to evaluate needs, prioritize initiatives, and make sound decisions
  • Interest in people and building an inclusive culture
  • Experience working in process-heavy environments related to facility investments
  • Experience representing the company externally in panels, customer meetings, etc.
  • Experience implementing challenging changes in operations
  • Relevant technical academic education, preferably in electrical power engineering
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
  • Possession of B-driving license
Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage department results, development and goal achievement
  • Drive development of Vattenfall Eldistribution's regional network North and Middle to meet electrification demands where 90% of Sweden's energy transition occurs in Vattenfall's network
  • Manage capacity, availability and network structure issues by identifying, evaluating and prioritizing deviations or needs and implementing measures for a robust, efficient electric system short- and long-term
  • Perform magnetic field calculations and dimensioning during feasibility studies
  • Manage operational maintenance of company calculation system PSS/E
  • Own and maintain Planning Handbook for Regional Network system design
  • Collaborate closely with Network Analysis Regional Network South, Asset Management, Customer and Market, Project Operations and external contacts
  • Participate in Network Optimisation leadership group and contribute to strategic business decisions
  • Lead change initiatives and ensure sustainable implementation of new working methods
  • Create an inclusive culture that supports employee success and growth
Required hard skills:
  • Leadership in network or infrastructure operations
  • Change management experience
  • Technical academic background in electrical power engineering or similar
  • Experience with capacity planning, network design and operation
  • PSS/E calculation system knowledge
  • Ability to represent company externally
  • Proficiency in Swedish and English
