Functional Solution Architect within Dynamics 365 & Retail

We are seeking a Functional Solution Architect (FSA) specializing in Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management (F&SCM) with a strong background in retail. The role involves acting as a key advisor to customers, translating complex retail needs into smart Dynamics 365 solutions that drive sales and enhance customer experiences. This position requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, solution architects, developers, and project managers in both Swedish and international assignments, blending strategic and operational tasks.
Main requirements:
  • Strong background in retail, possibly in purchasing, logistics, IT product ownership, or process leadership roles.
  • Practical experience with POS systems and e-commerce platforms integrated with ERP systems.
  • Experience leading or participating in implementation projects, preferably within Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management.
  • Ability to work closely with business stakeholders on process development and system implementation.
  • Deep understanding of omni-channel sales impacts on systems and workflows.
Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with customers, especially purchasing and logistics managers, to advise on business processes, system solutions, and sales strategies.
  • Translate complex retail needs into Dynamics 365 F&SCM solutions.
  • Prepare solution proposals, design and document processes and flows.
  • Ensure solutions deliver real business value.
  • Act as the link between customer business and technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with solution architects, developers, project managers, and business leads.
  • Participate actively in presales and early requirements gathering.
  • Influence the shaping and implementation of solutions within the team.
Required hard skills:
  • Experience with Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management implementations.
  • Strong knowledge of retail business processes including purchasing, logistics, and sales.
  • Experience with POS systems and e-commerce platforms integration with ERP.
  • Solution design and documentation skills.
  • Project participation and leadership experience in system implementations.
Recommended hard skills:
  • Experience with Dynamics 365 Commerce or Dynamics 365 POS.
  • Experience in international rollouts or large transformation projects.
  • Previous roles as superuser or project manager in ERP implementations.
