Functional Solution Architect within Dynamics 365 & Retail

We are seeking a Functional Solution Architect (FSA) specialized in Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management (F&SCM) with a strong retail background to join Columbus Sweden AB. The role focuses on driving customers' digital transformations by designing and implementing solutions that support retail business processes from purchasing and logistics to sales, both online and in-store. The position involves close collaboration with customers, internal teams, and stakeholders in a dynamic, international environment.
Main requirements:
  • Solid background in retail, possibly as purchasing/logistics manager, IT product owner, or process leader
  • Practical experience with POS systems and e-commerce platforms
  • Strong understanding of ERP systems integration, especially Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management
  • Experience leading or participating in implementation projects, preferably with Dynamics 365 F&SCM
  • Ability to work closely with business operations on process development and new system adoption
  • Deep understanding of omni-channel sales impact on systems and workflows
Responsibilities:
  • Advise customers on business processes, system solutions, and sales strategies
  • Translate complex retail needs into smart Dynamics 365 F&SCM solutions
  • Develop solution proposals, design and document processes and flows
  • Ensure solutions create real business value
  • Serve as liaison between customer business and technical solutions
  • Collaborate closely with solution architects, developers, project managers, and business managers
  • Actively participate in presales and early requirements specification
Required hard skills:
  • Experience with Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management implementations
  • Knowledge of retail processes including purchasing, logistics, and sales channels
  • Skills in process design and documentation
  • Ability to translate business requirements into solution designs
Recommended hard skills:
  • Experience with Dynamics 365 Commerce or POS
  • Experience in international roll-outs and large transformation projects
