A 12-month introduction program designed for engineering graduates starting their careers, offering personal and technical development at Saab Aeronautics in Linköping. The program includes role-specific work placements, expert-led training sessions during work hours, and networking opportunities within Saab. Positions available include software developers (high and low level), system engineers, interaction designers, DevOps developers, mechanical designers, computational engineers, electrical designers, and electronics engineers. Candidates are employed by Friday and work as consultants at Saab, with the intent of permanent employment at Saab post-program.
Main requirements:
- Graduating in summer 2025 with a relevant bachelor's or master's degree in fields such as computer science, software engineering, mechanical engineering, systems science, technical physics, electrical engineering, media technology, or similar.
- Genuine interest in technology and a continuous desire to develop within the field.
- Fluent proficiency in both Swedish and English as both languages are used in daily work.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in a 12-month tailored program deepening expertise in the chosen role and technical area.
- Engage in expert-led training sessions on topics like self-leadership, presentation technique, change management, and complex problem solving.
- Build valuable contacts and relationships with peers and experienced engineers across Saab.
- Collaborate effectively within teams and cross-functional departments.
- Take responsibility for personal development and growth throughout the program.
Required hard skills:
- Relevant engineering education in applicable disciplines (computer science, software, mechanical, systems, physics, electrical, media tech, etc).
- Fluent Swedish and English language skills.
Recommended hard skills:
