Expert Radio Planner

We are seeking a radio planner/mobile network expert for Network Projectum. The position is full-time and permanent, with immediate start. The workplace is Helsingborg or Gothenburg with business travel. Some remote work is possible when compatible with job tasks.
Main requirements:
  • Extensive experience in mobile networks with technical investigations and verifications related to mobile terminals.
  • Ability to independently manage tasks as well as work well individually and in groups.
  • Strong communication skills in Swedish and English, oral and written.
  • Swedish citizenship and security clearance are required.
  • B driving license is a requirement.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop strategies for coexistence of various 5G networks.
  • Plan for FRMCS and railway communication.
  • Conduct measurements of mobile networks (4G, 5G, and Rakel) in premises, public environments, and public transport assessing signal strength and capacity.
  • Compile customer reports based on measurements including GIS visualizations.
  • Work on preparations for mobile network functionality for autonomous vehicles.
  • Design repeater and other indoor solutions for wireless technology.
  • Configure and support installations of all types of wireless communications.
  • Support other departments with expertise in radio networks.
  • Communicate with suppliers and users, prepare, review and support solutions and fault management in radio networks.
  • Monitor new technology developments and provide advice to the company, partners, and suppliers.
  • Perform tests, measurements and network verifications.
  • Conduct investigations, quality follow-ups, and network analysis.
Required hard skills:
  • Radio planning and network design for 4G/5G and optimizations.
  • Deep knowledge of 4G (LTE) and 5G (NR) networks.
  • Experience with technical investigations and verifications in mobile terminal areas.
Recommended hard skills:
  • GIS visualization and reporting.
  • Knowledge of FRMCS and railway communication standards.
  • Design and configuration of repeater and indoor wireless solutions.
