DevOps Developer / Lead

As a DevOps Developer or Lead at Doktor.se, you will be responsible for the operation and security of our services. You will build and secure infrastructure and support other developers with their needs, while also having opportunities to influence product development and ideas.
Main requirements:
  • Approximately 5+ years experience as a DevOps Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, or similar role especially in AWS environments.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS services and operating them using Kubernetes/EKS, Docker, Terraform, CDK, GitHub Actions, and GitOps.
  • Proficiency in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript (Node.js), and comfortable with Bash scripting for problem-solving.
  • Experience with databases, especially PostgreSQL and SQL, and knowledge of AWS services like Redis and SQS.
  • Experience setting up and maintaining monitoring services such as Datadog.
  • Security-minded with solid understanding of securing infrastructure from unauthorized intrusions.
  • Ability to identify and solve problems beyond comfort zone.
  • Strong sense of ownership, teamwork, and experience working in agile environments.
  • English proficiency required; Swedish knowledge is a plus.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and improve microservices infrastructure in AWS and ensure proper monitoring and security principles are in place.
  • Automate and improve CI/CD pipelines and processes using infrastructure as code.
  • Support other developers with backend services and programming assistance.
  • Contribute to system design and architectural discussions to develop scalable and flexible services with best practices and modern technologies.
