A strategic leadership role within Digitalization and IT at the Elderly and Care and Welfare Administration in Gothenburg City, focusing on driving digital transformation and innovation in a socially critical sector.
Main requirements:
- Academic degree in IT, systems science or equivalent education
- At least 4 years of experience in IT infrastructure, mobile solutions, server environments and digitalization-driven business development
- Proven experience in leading complex projects from needs analysis to implementation
- Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written
Responsibilities:
- Lead development of business-relevant digital solutions and drive new working methods to enhance service, accessibility and efficiency
- Specify future-proof requirements for IT infrastructure during premises development, new construction and modernization
- Establish robust collaboration frameworks with external suppliers ensuring high standards for systems, performance, security and innovation
- Monitor trends and integrate new technologies to keep the organization at the forefront
- Plan, lead, and coordinate complex development assignments and projects from idea to effect
- Proactively develop and standardize IT solutions, work processes and governance models
- Participate in procurements and ensure commercially sustainable, future-proof contracts
- Translate city-wide IT strategies into concrete business benefits through networking and collaboration
