Cuebid AB is looking for a datacenter consultant with experience in virtualization, storage, and backup. The role involves managing and monitoring datacenter infrastructure, configuring virtualization solutions, and ensuring secure, updated environments in a dynamic, tech-forward organization.
Main requirements:
  • At least a couple of years' experience working in datacenters with focus on virtualization and server operations
  • Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware, Microsoft HyperV, or KVM
  • Basic network knowledge and experience with networking protocols
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
  • Valid B driver's license
Responsibilities:
  • Operate and monitor datacenter infrastructure
  • Ensure environments are secure and updated
  • Configure and start up virtualization solutions
  • Install and update storage and backup systems
  • Manage new implementations and upgrades for customers
  • Conduct security analyses and reviews of established environments
  • Collaborate with colleagues and customers to develop and improve existing solutions
Required hard skills:
  • Virtualization technologies (VMware, Microsoft HyperV or KVM)
  • Basic networking knowledge and protocols
  • Storage and backup system management
Recommended hard skills:
  • Experience with DNS/DHCP
  • Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Server+, or VMware-related certifications
