Main requirements:
  • Proven experience administering MySQL databases.
  • Strong knowledge of Disaster Recovery (DR) principles.
  • Expert proficiency in Linux and advanced Bash scripting skills.
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and monitor database environments for stability and performance enhancement.
  • Automate complex database management processes using Bash scripting.
  • Collaborate strategically with development teams for database support in projects and testing.
  • Implement and work with advanced database technologies such as MySQL InnoDB Cluster, Singlestore, SQL Server, Hadoop, ScyllaDB, PostgreSQL, and Couchbase.

Recommended hard skills:
  • Experience with Vitess and database sharding in distributed systems
