Data Warehouse and BI Developer

Work with data-driven development in a socially important government agency. Develop, deploy, and maintain data warehouses and BI solutions, create analysis models and reports in close collaboration with the business and IT specialists.
Main requirements:
- Post-secondary education in computer science or equivalent competence (minimum level 5 according to SeQF) or equivalent experience as assessed by the employer
- Very good knowledge of SQL including T-SQL and stored procedures
- Experience in data warehouse development including information and data modeling
- Experience in updating data and creating reports from databases
- Experience in designing ETL processes
- Knowledge of Microsoft data platform or equivalent
- Experience with requirements specification within data warehouse initiatives
- Ability to understand and describe business needs related to data and analysis
- Good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, for communication and documentation
Responsibilities:
- Developing, operating, and maintaining data warehouse and BI solutions
- Data extraction and updating in databases
- Designing and developing ETL processes
- Creating analysis models and reports using visualization tools
- Requirement specification and dialogue with business regarding data capture and information needs
Required hard skills:
- SQL including T-SQL and stored procedures
- Data warehouse development and data modeling
- ETL process design
- Microsoft data platform or equivalent
- Requirement specification for data warehouse
Recommended hard skills:
- Experience with visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, QlikView or Excel
- Experience with SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services)
