SJR in Uppsala is seeking a Data Engineer for an exciting approximately 6-month consulting assignment at a leading global biotechnology company. The role involves building, optimizing, and structuring data pipelines to provide a stable foundation for BI and data analysis. Main requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years experience as a Data Engineer in a similar position.
  • Experience with ETL processes, databases, and data modeling.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with data warehouse solutions.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Good understanding of BI tools and data visualization.
  • Experience building pipelines, tables, and structures.
  • Relevant education in information systems, computer science, or similar fields.
Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop robust data pipelines and ETL processes.
  • Structure, improve, and maintain data warehouse solutions.
  • Work with SQL, databases, table structures, and data modeling.
  • Collaborate with the BI team to make data available for analysis and visualization.
  • Optimize data storage and performance.
  • Contribute to further development of data infrastructure and platforms.
