Progressiv Solutions AB is looking for a Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize data pipelines to support analytics, AI, and business intelligence through scalable data infrastructure. The role involves developing ETL/ELT pipelines, managing cloud data infrastructure, ensuring data governance and security, and collaborating with Data Science, Analytics, and Engineering teams.
Main requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience in data engineering
  • Proficient in SQL and Python
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure
  • Expertise in BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks, Apache Spark, DBT, Terraform, and Kubernetes
  • Strong knowledge of data modeling, CI/CD, DevOps best practices, and infrastructure automation
  • Problem-solving mindset
  • Ability to work independently in an agile environment
  • Excellent communication skills
Responsibilities:
  • Build and optimize ETL/ELT data pipelines
  • Handle structured and unstructured data
  • Implement real-time streaming using Kafka, Pub/Sub, or Kinesis
  • Manage data infrastructure on cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure)
  • Automate infrastructure with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines
  • Optimize data warehouses and platforms like BigQuery, Snowflake, and Databricks
  • Ensure data integrity, compliance, and security via access controls, monitoring, and quality checks
  • Collaborate with Data Science, Analytics, and Engineering teams to align solutions with business needs
