Progressiv Solutions AB is looking for a Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize data pipelines to support analytics, AI, and business intelligence through scalable data infrastructure. The role involves developing ETL/ELT pipelines, managing cloud data infrastructure, ensuring data governance and security, and collaborating with Data Science, Analytics, and Engineering teams.
Main requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in data engineering
- Proficient in SQL and Python
- Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure
- Expertise in BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks, Apache Spark, DBT, Terraform, and Kubernetes
- Strong knowledge of data modeling, CI/CD, DevOps best practices, and infrastructure automation
- Problem-solving mindset
- Ability to work independently in an agile environment
- Excellent communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Build and optimize ETL/ELT data pipelines
- Handle structured and unstructured data
- Implement real-time streaming using Kafka, Pub/Sub, or Kinesis
- Manage data infrastructure on cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure)
- Automate infrastructure with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines
- Optimize data warehouses and platforms like BigQuery, Snowflake, and Databricks
- Ensure data integrity, compliance, and security via access controls, monitoring, and quality checks
- Collaborate with Data Science, Analytics, and Engineering teams to align solutions with business needs
