Data Center System Technician

Manage and operate advanced system platforms in a security-classified environment, ensuring availability, stability, and security of critical development and testing environments.
Main requirements:
  • Extensive and documented experience in qualified work within operations and management in complex IT environments, independently planning, executing, and following up on tasks.
  • At least 5 years experience in IT operations within large geographically distributed organizations.
  • At least 5 years experience with Microsoft Windows Server (2016 or newer).
  • At least 5 years experience with VMware vSphere in the last 10 years.
  • At least 2 years experience in system management.
  • At least 2 years experience with IP-based networks (LAN/WAN).
  • At least 2 years experience with Microsoft WSUS.
  • At least 2 years experience in backup management including configuration, monitoring, and restoration.
  • At least 2 years experience with SAN or equivalent storage solutions.
  • At least 1 year experience managing operational environments for development and test in multiple concurrent IT projects.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
  • Ability to pass a security clearance due to work in a classified environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for technical operations and management of several parallel IT environments on a common system platform.
  • Preparation of environments for development and testing.
  • Installation and configuration of servers.
  • Operations monitoring and backup management.
  • Providing technical support to projects.
  • Maintaining order, documenting work and proactive actions in a complex IT environment.
