Join a leading Nordic bank as a Data Analyst, supporting strategic and operational initiatives in KYC data governance. You will work closely with Data Architects, SMEs, and business stakeholders to improve data quality, support system implementations, and ensure regulatory compliance in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
Main requirements:
- Proven experience in data management or data quality, preferably in financial services
- Experience with advanced SQL queries and familiarity with programming languages such as Python, R, Java, or Scala
- Familiarity with data taxonomy and ability to build small data models
- Experience using Power BI for reporting
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written
Responsibilities:
- Analyze existing KYC data to identify gaps and improvement areas
- Develop and implement data standards to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Participate in projects related to Group KYC Tool
- Create and maintain Business Information Models (BIM) for each domain
- Monitor data quality metrics and report to management
- Investigate and resolve data quality issues
- Advise agile delivery teams on data governance best practices
- Support implementation of new KYC systems, including data migration and integration
- Develop reproducible data flows and quality reporting outputs
- Analyze and visualize complex data for stakeholders
- Document data definitions, lineage, and quality rules
- Contribute to governance communities and policy development
- Stay current with regulatory developments and best practices
Required hard skills:
