Lead the IT security efforts in a rapidly growing municipality by organizing, developing, and implementing cybersecurity measures, overseeing incident management, ensuring GDPR compliance, and conducting security audits and staff training.
Main requirements:
  • Experience working with complex IT environments
  • Experience in systematic IT security work including IT security strategies, risk analyses, and incident management processes
  • Practical experience as IT technician or similar in infrastructure, cloud, client, and network environments
Responsibilities:
  • Organize, build, and drive IT security work in the municipality
  • Plan and implement security-enhancing measures
  • Conduct environmental monitoring, log and trend analysis
  • Lead IT security-related incident handling
  • Perform internal and external security audits
  • Ensure the municipality's compliance with GDPR
  • Engage in requirements specification and evaluation for supplier procurements
  • Conduct educational and informational initiatives to raise awareness of IT security risks
