We are now looking for a Communications Planner to contribute to creating functioning, modern, and secure communication systems for the Army. The role involves creating and quality-assuring technical documentation needed for military units' systems to operate together, collaborating closely with colleagues, technicians, and Defence representatives. This is a full-time position based in Växjö as part of a long-term assignment delivering configuration data for the Swedish Armed Forces' command support systems.
Main requirements:
  • Experience in a technical role within IT, system administration, or networking
  • Understanding of configuration of IT and communication systems such as IP addressing and system architecture
  • Strong ability to structure and analyze complex information
  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate to create shared understanding
  • Fluent in Swedish (spoken and written) and very good English skills
Responsibilities:
  • Collect, structure, and quality assure configuration data
  • Collaborate with the Swedish Armed Forces and other stakeholders to ensure correct information transfer
  • Participate in planning and documenting network and system configurations
  • Follow up on technical requirements to ensure systems are configured correctly
  • Interpret and adhere to governing documents and regulations

  • Experience with Swedish Armed Forces or other governmental agencies
