We are now looking for a Communications Planner to contribute to creating functioning, modern, and secure communication systems for the Army. The role involves creating and quality-assuring technical documentation needed for military units' systems to operate together, collaborating closely with colleagues, technicians, and Defence representatives. This is a full-time position based in Växjö as part of a long-term assignment delivering configuration data for the Swedish Armed Forces' command support systems.
Main requirements:
- Experience in a technical role within IT, system administration, or networking
- Understanding of configuration of IT and communication systems such as IP addressing and system architecture
- Strong ability to structure and analyze complex information
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate to create shared understanding
- Fluent in Swedish (spoken and written) and very good English skills
Responsibilities:
- Collect, structure, and quality assure configuration data
- Collaborate with the Swedish Armed Forces and other stakeholders to ensure correct information transfer
- Participate in planning and documenting network and system configurations
- Follow up on technical requirements to ensure systems are configured correctly
- Interpret and adhere to governing documents and regulations

- Experience with Swedish Armed Forces or other governmental agencies
- Knowledge of command support systems (LSS Mark), BMS, or military communication technology
