Communications Engineer

Responsible for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and development of communication equipment within the energy sector, ensuring safe and sustainable energy infrastructure.
Main requirements:
  • Education in telecom, electrical engineering, or power engineering or equivalent practical experience
  • Several years of experience in telecommunications or power industry, or specialist competence
  • Experience leading projects or independent work in the industry
  • Proficiency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
  • Driving license class B
  • Ability to perform work at heights such as mast and pole climbing
Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventive maintenance on communication equipment
  • Troubleshoot communication equipment faults
  • Execute modifications and new builds of communication solutions
  • Ensure successful implementation of communication projects from start to finish
  • Participate in design, material procurement, implementation, installation, and commissioning
  • Manage supplier and contractor relationships
Required hard skills:
  • Knowledge of technologies such as SDH/PDH, optical fiber, radio, IEC61850, IP networks
  • Experience in remote control and control equipment
  • Project management skills in energy or telecommunications
Recommended hard skills:
