Sopra Steria Sweden AB is seeking an experienced and skilled Cloud Architect specialized in Azure to join their leading digital transformation team. The role involves planning, designing, and implementing Azure cloud solutions across the full Azure platform, with a focus on Entra ID for identity and access management. Responsibilities include coaching clients on cloud and hybrid technologies, acting as a subject matter expert or technical team leader, and contributing to the development of innovative cloud-based projects. The candidate should possess strong technical skills, problem-solving ability, and experience from consultancy work in both large and small teams.
Main requirements:
  • 5 to 8 years of documented experience as an Azure Architect with strong technical focus and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
  • Ability to automate and optimize workflows
  • Experience translating client needs into concrete design proposals and implementations
  • Experience working in consultancy environments with both large and small teams
Responsibilities:
  • Actively participate in planning, designing, and implementing Azure solutions for clients
  • Operate solutions covering the full breadth of the Azure platform including IaaS and PaaS with focus on Entra ID for identity and access management
  • Coach and guide clients on optimal use of cloud and hybrid technology for implementation or migration to Azure
  • Serve as a subject matter expert supporting multiple teams or act as a technical team leader responsible for delivery
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of innovative cloud-based projects and enhance the cloud offerings
Required hard skills:
  • Design and implementation of public cloud solutions focusing on cost optimization, security, scalability, performance, and availability
  • Proficiency in programming and/or scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, Python
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps or GitHub
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like ARM, Bicep, Terraform
  • Understanding and experience with frameworks including Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework, Security Adoption Framework, Well-Architected Framework
  • Knowledge of cloud security and Zero Trust architecture
Recommended hard skills:
  • Experience and knowledge of container solutions such as Docker and Kubernetes
