Sopra Steria, Nordic leader in digital transformation, is looking for an experienced and skilled Cloud Architect with Azure expertise to strengthen their outstanding team. This role is key for delivering innovative cloud-based projects to clients and further developing the company's cloud offerings. The position involves planning, designing, and implementing Azure solutions including IaaS and PaaS, focusing on Entra ID for identity and access management. The architect will coach clients on optimal cloud and hybrid technology use for new implementations and migrations, act as a subject matter expert supporting several teams or lead technically with overall delivery responsibility.
Main requirements:
  • 5 to 8 years documented experience as Azure architect with strong technical focus and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, spoken and written
  • Ability to automate and optimize workflows
  • Experience translating customer needs into design proposals and implementations
  • Experience from consulting industry working in both large and small teams
Responsibilities:
  • Actively participate in planning, design and implementation of Azure solutions for clients
  • Operate with solutions covering the full Azure platform including IaaS and PaaS, focusing on Entra ID
  • Coach and guide clients on optimal use of cloud and hybrid technologies
  • Serve as subject matter expert supporting multiple teams or technical team leader with overall delivery responsibility
Required hard skills:
  • Experience designing and implementing public cloud solutions focusing on cost optimization, security, scalability, performance, and availability
  • Competence in programming and/or scripting languages such as Powershell, Bash, Python
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps or GitHub
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like ARM, Bicep, Terraform
  • Understanding and experience with frameworks like Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework, Security Adoption Framework, Well-Architected Framework
  • Knowledge in cloud security and Zero Trust architecture
Recommended hard skills:
  • Knowledge and experience with container solutions like Docker and Kubernetes
