The Swedish Prison and Probation Service is expanding and seeks a Business Specialist for collaboration platforms focusing on SharePoint. The role involves support, administration, and development of collaboration sites, user support, educational material preparation, and participation in improvement initiatives to support organizational goals of reducing recidivism and improving societal safety.
Main requirements:
  • Completed secondary education
  • Experience as business specialist or equivalent for collaboration platforms and document management in a SharePoint solution
  • Experience providing user support
  • Experience creating and conducting training materials for digital system users
  • Experience writing instructions/manuals or similar documentation
  • Very good skills in Office programs
  • Good knowledge of collaboration platforms in a SharePoint solution
  • Very good verbal and written command of Swedish
Responsibilities:
  • Provide user support and manage access permissions for collaboration platforms
  • Develop support and training materials
  • Maintain and administer existing collaboration platform solutions with support from senior colleagues
  • Collect improvement proposals and communicate them to sub-management leaders
  • Participate in needs assessments and propose improvements and functional changes
  • Work closely with senior specialist/sub-management leader and other team members
  • Engage in governance inspired by PM3 framework
  • Perform tasks related to tools beyond SharePoint and participate in projects linked to information management
Required hard skills:

  • Instruction and manual writing
  • Office software proficiency (e.g., Microsoft Office)
Recommended hard skills:
  • Academic education in relevant fields such as information science or communication
  • Training as SharePoint editor/administrator
  • Experience implementing collaboration platforms/document management with SharePoint
  • Experience transitioning from analog to digital document and case management
  • Development of digital training materials
  • Previous work experience within the Swedish Prison and Probation Service
