AFRY is seeking an Automation Engineer with expertise in AVEVA System Platform to join their Advanced Automation team in the Mälardalen region. The role involves working on various projects, primarily focused on automation, programming, and digitalization within industrial sectors. Responsibilities include coordinating and leading work on AVEVA projects, programming in PML and C#, database administration, drawing production automation, and contributing to the development of internal working processes. The candidate will be part of a dynamic team delivering projects from concept to completion, with opportunities for growth and development within AFRY.
Main requirements:
- Experience with AVEVA System Platform (formerly Wonderware)
- Experience with IoT and OT
- Relevant engineering education in Data, IT, Computer Science or equivalent
- Driver's license class B for business travel
- Fluent communication skills in Swedish and English
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and lead work on larger AVEVA projects
- Work with AVEVA configuration tools, catalogs and specifications
- Programming in PML and C#
- Database and data model administration
- Structuring and automating drawing production
- Contribute to internal development and efficient work processes
