Seeking an experienced application technician to contribute to a stable and secure IT landscape in a defense-related organization protecting people and society. The role involves managing multiple applications primarily in an on-premise environment with responsibilities in operations and maintenance, with occasional project involvement for new systems and solutions deployment. The position is full-time and based preferably in Linköping, with options for Stockholm or Gothenburg, requiring security clearance and some travel.
Main requirements:
  • At least 5 years of documented relevant work experience
  • Experience in application operation and technical maintenance
  • Good understanding of application architecture
  • Ability to write scripts for monitoring and automation
  • Experience with Windows Server and Microsoft SQL
  • Experience with managing web applications in Microsoft IIS
  • Fluent communication in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
Responsibilities:
  • Monitoring and ensuring operations through log monitoring and daily system checks
  • Incident and change request management
  • Installation and upgrading of applications
  • Documentation of solutions and systems in Swedish and English
  • Continuous improvement of routines and identification and implementation of automations
  • Collaborate closely with IT functions, business units, and external suppliers providing technical expertise and structured, solution-oriented mindset
