AD Technician (Active Directory Technician)

SysPartner Consulting AB seeks a senior AD Technician specializing in Active Directory and IAM for system administration consulting. The role involves managing AD infrastructure, scripting with PowerShell, troubleshooting, and improving processes within a collaborative team environment.
Main requirements:
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in system administration with Active Directory, preferably on-premises.
  • Relevant education in IT or related field.
  • Strong expertise in IAM with multiple years of hands-on experience.
  • Solid foundational knowledge in infrastructure including networking and system administration.
  • Advanced PowerShell scripting skills.
  • Ability and interest in large-scale automation is a plus.
  • Ability to communicate fluently in both Swedish and English, spoken and written.
  • Willingness to comply with security clearance requirements and possible citizenship restrictions for security classification.
Responsibilities:
  • Operate and manage Active Directory environments ensuring high availability.
  • Set up and harden Active Directory.
  • Delegate rights within the directory services.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AD and infrastructure.
  • Manage certain infrastructure setups and ongoing operations.
  • Monitor and patch customer environments.
  • Provide expertise and support related to the team's responsibility areas.
  • Ensure existing solutions are secure and reliable.
  • Contribute to process improvements and documentation enhancement.
Required hard skills:
  • Active Directory system administration (preferably on-premises).
  • Identity and Access Management expertise.
  • Networking and general infrastructure knowledge.
  • Advanced PowerShell scripting skills.
