Manage third-party software (3PP SW) handling within Ericsson, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and Product Life Cycle Management rules. Drive the evolution of 3PP software management to meet customer expectations and upcoming standards such as NIST and SSDF.
Main requirements:
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements regarding third-party software.
- Adhere to Product Life Cycle Management rules and guidance for Radio Software.
- Manage frequent updates of third-party software to reduce vulnerabilities.
- Stay updated with standards and regulations such as NIST and SSDF.
Responsibilities:
- Drive the evolution of third-party software (3PP) management processes.
- Coordinate with teams to implement frequent 3PP software updates.
- Ensure all third-party software usage within products complies with legal and regulatory standards.
- Work within product life cycle guidelines to maintain software quality and compliance.
Required hard skills:
- Software development and programming.
- Knowledge of software lifecycle management.
- Understanding of legal and regulatory standards related to software (e.g., NIST, SSDF).
Recommended hard skills:
- Experience with Radio Software products.
- Familiarity with vulnerability management in software ecosystems.
