As a guard at Avarn Security, you will have an exciting everyday job where your task is to strengthen our customers' safety and promote a safer environment. The role includes patrolling to ensure security and stationary guarding, as well as working as an orderly guard collaborating with police to maintain public order.
Main requirements:
- Already trained as an orderly guard with an active appointment and/or trained as a security guard with active approval
- Clean criminal record (verified by legal review prior to employment)
- Drug-free
- High school education (Swedish 1 & 2)
- Good command of Swedish and English, spoken and written
- Good health and physical fitness
- Orderly personal finances
- Valid Class B driver's license
Responsibilities:
- Patrolling client sites to check alarms, locked windows and doors, electric equipment off, and absence of unauthorized persons
- Conducting both indoor and outdoor patrols, mainly at night and in shifts
- Stationary guarding including reception duties, patrolling, and staffing security control centers
- As an orderly guard, working with police to maintain order at public places such as sport events, public transport, hospitals, and shopping centers
- Intervening in disturbances by removing or temporarily detaining offenders if necessary
Required hard skills:
- Orderly guard training with active appointment and/or security guard training with active approval
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to handle stress and demonstrate inner confidence
Recommended hard skills:
- Experience in security or orderly guard roles is positive but not required
