Akkodis is seeking a Test Engineer to join their team, responsible for defining and executing test plans for combustion engines and related systems, analyzing results, preparing reports, and contributing to the development of test methods and continuous improvement.
Main requirements:
  • Master/Bachelor of Science or relevant technical experience
  • Experience with combustion engines, parts, systems, and exhaust after treatment
  • Several years of experience in combustion engine development or testing, or as mechanic/technician/test driver with fault tracing expertise
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office Tools
  • Proficient in both spoken and written Swedish and English
Responsibilities:
  • Understand verification needs for engine features and functions
  • Define test requirements and create test plans
  • Manage, plan, prepare, and execute tests
  • Analyze test results and provide recommendations
  • Prepare and manage fault reports from tests
  • Document results and compile engineering reports
  • Continuously update test methods and participate in technical requirement updates
  • Drive long-term and short-term test assignments from start to end
  • Contribute to development of durability test methods
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts
