System Technician

A System Technician position at Ludvika kommun responsible for managing and supporting IT systems and infrastructure for the municipalities of Ludvika and Smedjebacken.
Main requirements:
- Recently graduated or soon to graduate with a university degree in system science or computer science.

Responsibilities:
- Lead system implementations as IT representative in cooperation with business departments and suppliers.
- Support development initiatives with technical expertise.
- Ensure adherence to routines, strategies, and principles set by management and security groups.
- Configure and install servers, package and install client applications, set up network communications, configure federations and integrations.
- Create provisions and update relevant documentation.
- Manage systems post-implementation, handle lifecycle management of Windows environments, incident management, deep problem analysis and troubleshooting.
- Develop automation to facilitate administrative routines.
- Maintain continual dialogue with customers.
Required hard skills:
- Knowledge and experience with IT infrastructure and Windows administration.
- Familiarity with Active Directory, Microsoft 365 Administration portals, Microsoft Public Key Infrastructure, and/or Microsoft PowerShell.
- Ability to manage lifecycle of Windows environments and troubleshoot complex problems.
Recommended hard skills:
- Microsoft or other relevant certifications.
- Possession of driver's license for car and light truck (Category B).
- Experience with technical leadership or project management.
- Experience working according to ITIL framework.
