System Engineer in Telephony and Networking

We are seeking system engineers to join one of Sweden's most interesting companies, with strong ties to the Swedish defense industry and projects in both the public and private sectors. The company is growing with a focus on communication solutions for the defense and security industry.
Main requirements:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering (civil or university level).
  • Strong technical interest in network design and network technology.
  • Experience or knowledge in basic Linux skills, preferably Redhat Linux.
  • Knowledge in network design.
  • Experience in network technology including routing and switching.
  • Experience with system integration and ongoing documentation of such integrations.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and verify technical design solutions.
  • Act as a key contributor in customer meetings and project deliveries.
  • Conduct lab testing of solutions by setting up, documenting, and optimizing before deployment.
  • Prepare various documentation related to project deliveries.
  • Travel to customer facilities or suppliers as needed.
  • Collaborate closely with customers and colleagues to ensure robust, long-term, and quality deliveries.
Required hard skills:
  • Network design and network technology (routing, switching).
  • Basic Linux competency, preferably Redhat Linux.
  • System integration and documentation.
Recommended hard skills:
  • Experience with system and network architecture.
  • Knowledge of IP telephony, SIP, and VMware.
  • Programming skills in Python or Java.
  • Experience working in security and defense sector.
