Junior Electric Power Engineer within the Energy Sector

Entry-level position for recent graduates in Electrical Power Engineering focused on HVDC systems, involving simulation, design, and tool development with mentoring support in a consultancy setting.
Main requirements:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Electric Power Engineering or Engineering Physics
- General understanding of electrical power systems
- Knowledge of modeling and analyzing electrical circuits in frequency domain, both manually and via computer
- Problem-solving with a practical mindset
- Fluent in spoken and written Swedish and English
- Team player with excellent communication and positive approach to new tasks
Responsibilities:
- Participate and collaborate in project groups responsible for electrical system design of HVDC converter stations
- Work with simulation tools such as PSCAD, PSSE, and Power Factory
- Develop small tools in Excel, MATLAB, or Python to analyze and process large data sets
- Perform electrical calculations and simulations for dimensioning of HVDC systems
- Work analytically and structured, taking responsibility for assigned tasks
Required hard skills:
