Main requirements:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Electric Power Engineering or Engineering Physics
  • General understanding of electrical power systems
  • Knowledge of modeling and analyzing electrical circuits in frequency domain, both manually and via computer
  • Problem-solving with a practical mindset
  • Fluent in spoken and written Swedish and English
  • Team player with excellent communication and positive approach to new tasks
Responsibilities:
  • Participate and collaborate in project groups responsible for electrical system design of HVDC converter stations
  • Work with simulation tools such as PSCAD, PSSE, and Power Factory
  • Develop small tools in Excel, MATLAB, or Python to analyze and process large data sets
  • Perform electrical calculations and simulations for dimensioning of HVDC systems
  • Work analytically and structured, taking responsibility for assigned tasks
