System Administrator

We are looking for a technically skilled and self-driven System Administrator with strong expertise in Linux environments and the ability to troubleshoot in Windows systems where needed. The role involves supporting the development of flight simulators for pilot training and strategic demonstrations, ensuring system reliability, performance, and stability. The candidate will be primarily responsible for operation, maintenance, and development of the system environment, mainly Linux-based, with occasional Windows environment troubleshooting.
Main requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience in system administration or IT operations
- Strong Linux system skills, ideally Red Hat-based
- Hands-on experience with Ansible and automation
- Understanding of network security and firewall configuration
- Ability to troubleshoot Windows environments (user interface and client issues)
- Strong communication skills in Swedish and English
- Valid category B driving license
- Experience with Active Directory and Windows integration
- Familiarity with container platforms like OpenShift
- Experience with ticketing systems like Jira
Responsibilities:
- Administration, operation, and troubleshooting of Linux systems (Red Hat or similar)
- Configuration and maintenance of Ansible-based deployment environments
- Network management including IP planning and security policy implementation
- Firewall configuration and IT security maintenance
- Packaging and creation of installation media for Linux systems
- Troubleshooting Windows-based simulator interfaces and user environments
- Providing technical support to development teams proactively and reactively
- Occasional daytime travel within Sweden
