Shift-working IT Support Technician

A service-oriented team player with a passion for technical support and a preference for evening, night, and weekend work. The role involves providing IT, network, and system support to users and customers, working with Service Desk in Stockholm through phone, ServiceNow ticketing system, and face-to-face support. The technician will also participate in projects, improvements, and co-manage larger systems.
Main requirements:
  • Experience working in a technical support or service desk function
  • Experience supporting PC and Microsoft environments
  • Understanding of networking and IT infrastructure
  • Knowledge of the ITIL framework
  • Experience with one or more ticketing systems
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Full working proficiency in Swedish and English
  • Relevant education
Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshooting and resolving IT problems
  • Installation and configuration of software and hardware
  • Providing support via phone, email, and face-to-face meetings
  • Documenting problems and solutions
  • Maintaining IT systems and infrastructure
  • Collaborating with other teams to solve tougher problems
Required hard skills:
  • Technical support experience
  • PC and Microsoft environment support
