Senior System Administrator Windows

SysPartner Consulting AB is seeking a Senior Windows System Administrator to deliver client and server services and be part of the operations and support team with their customers. This is a full-time consulting role offering opportunities for rapid development and skill enhancement within infrastructure and IT operations. The position requires strong technical skills, a professional attitude, and the ability to adapt in dynamic assignments.
Main requirements:
  • At least eight years of experience in system administration or a related field.
  • Relevant formal education in IT or system administration.
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills for clients, servers, and networks.
  • Deployment and administration of on-premise servers (setup, installation, operation).
  • Planning and production deployment of new systems.
  • Automation and scripting, specifically with PowerShell.
  • Deep knowledge of Active Directory.
  • Experience with Ansible or equivalent automation tools.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
  • Ability to pass current security clearance requirements and possible citizenship requirements due to security classification.
  • Willingness and ability to work 100% on-site at the client’s facilities.
Responsibilities:
  • Deliver client and server services as part of operations and support teams.
  • Participate in troubleshooting and maintenance of IT infrastructure.
  • Deploy and administer Windows-based servers on-premise.
  • Plan and execute system production deployments and migrations.
  • Automate tasks through scripting and automation tools.
  • Perform migrations, platform upgrades, and support virtualization platforms.
  • Maintain security compliance and complete required security clearances.
Required hard skills:
  • Advanced troubleshooting of client, server, and network issues.
  • Windows server deployment and administration (on-premise).
  • PowerShell scripting.
  • Deep Active Directory knowledge.
  • Automation using Ansible or similar tools.
  • System migration and production rollout planning.
Recommended hard skills:
  • Experience with migrations and platform upgrades.
  • Virtualization platforms at OS and application levels.
  • SQL and Exchange administration experience.
  • VMware Horizon knowledge.
  • Azure, Office365, and other cloud platforms experience.
