Senior EMC Engineer

A Senior EMC Engineer position focused on conducting EMC testing and design support for vehicle components and complete vehicles, ensuring compliance with automotive EMC standards and collaborating across disciplinary teams in a dynamic environment.
Main requirements:
  • Degree in Electronic Engineering or related field
  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
  • Hands-on experience with EMC test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, signal generators, LISNs, and GTEM cells
  • Solid understanding of automotive EMC standards including CISPR 25, ISO 11452, UNECE Regulation No. 10
  • Experience with EMC simulation tools like CST Studio Suite or ANSYS HFSS
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex EMI/EMC issues in vehicle systems
  • Project experience in vehicle electrification or autonomous systems
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct EMC testing on components and complete vehicles
  • Provide EMC design support during development
  • Review EMC test setups, procedures, and reports for accuracy and compliance
  • Develop EMC requirements and define test methods
  • Perform EMI/ESD testing and troubleshooting
  • Conduct root cause analysis and recommend solutions
  • Participate in design reviews for EMC adherence
  • Utilize simulation tools for EMC modeling and optimization
  • Ensure compliance with international EMC standards
  • Create and maintain EMC test plans, procedures, and documentation
  • Collaborate with hardware, software, and mechanical teams
  • Interface with OEMs, suppliers, and certification authorities
Required hard skills:
  • Expertise with EMC test equipment (spectrum analyzers, signal generators, LISNs, GTEM cells)
  • Knowledge of automotive EMC standards (CISPR 25, ISO 11452, UNECE Regulation No. 10)
  • Experience with EMC simulation tools (CST Studio Suite, ANSYS HFSS)
