Part-time Security Guard position at Avarn Security AB in Älmhult, focused on preventive security work including patrolling, monitoring alarms, and stationary guarding with shift work. Main requirements:
  • Be at least 18 years old before starting the assignment
  • High school diploma (gymnasiekompetens)
  • Good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written
  • Valid driver's license class B
  • No criminal record, drug free, good financial standing, good health and physical condition
Responsibilities:
  • Patrolling assigned district/area in a vehicle to check that alarms are on, windows and doors are closed and locked, electrical equipment is turned off, and no unauthorized persons are present
  • Conducting both indoor and outdoor supervision, mostly alone during night shifts
  • Stationary guarding tasks including reception work, patrolling, and manning security control centers
Required hard skills:
  • Security guard training (VU1, VU2) or willingness to complete it funded by employer
  • Valid drivers license B
