Security Analyst Day Shift

As an analyst with us, you will work to protect our customers from IT security attacks. In this role, you will identify and analyze potential incidents and escalate them to our customers. You will have several SIEM, SOAR, and XDR tools at your disposal. You are the detective who, through proactive as well as reactive work, counters cyberattacks among our clientele.
Main requirements:
  • Post-secondary education or work experience in IT security, IT forensics, or network security.
  • Swedish citizenship due to security clearance requirements when working with public sector.
  • Fluent in spoken and written Swedish and English.
Responsibilities:
  • Handle incoming alerts via SIEM tools (Splunk and Sentinel).
  • Analyze and mitigate attacks using EDR and XDR tools.
  • Independently evaluate and take potential actions.
  • Document the incident timelines.
  • Inform and provide advisory services to customers.
  • Proactively hunt threats.
  • Build or modify detections.
  • Improve existing procedures or design new ones.
  • Contribute to the company's database of threats and indicators.
  • Continuously enhance technical skills through training.
  • Manage, configure, and update log management tools (Splunk and Sentinel).
  • Set up infrastructure and install components in new customer environments.
  • Provide customer support, introductions, and troubleshooting for SIEM tools.
Required hard skills:
  • Experience with SIEM tools such as Splunk and Microsoft Sentinel.
  • Experience with EDR and XDR tools.
  • Ability to document and analyze security incidents.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and threat hunting.
Recommended hard skills:
