Hitachi Energy is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Scrum Master to join the HVDC Control and Protection Software Department, focusing on real-time control software of HVDC transmission systems. The role involves facilitating agile processes, removing impediments, and fostering a collaborative and productive environment to support sustainable and secure energy solutions.
Main requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification
  • Minimum 3 years experience as Scrum Master in engineering/technology environment
  • Strong understanding of HVDC systems and control and protection technologies is advantageous
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
  • Experience with agile project management tools (Jira, Trello, DevOps)
Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
  • Ensure team adherence to Scrum principles and practices
  • Remove impediments and obstacles hindering team progress
  • Foster culture of continuous improvement and collaboration
  • Collaborate with Product Owners to maintain prioritized backlog
  • Track and report on team performance and progress
  • Coach and mentor team members on agile best practices
  • Promote positive and productive team environment
