Looking for an experienced SAP EWM Expert with expertise in Warehouse Control Systems (WCS) and Automated EWM to lead the implementation of Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) for a new warehouse in Sweden. Responsible for client management, business requirements gathering, EWM configuration, and integration with third-party systems. Role requires technical expertise and leadership across multiple teams.
Main requirements:
  • Strong hands-on experience in implementing, configuring, and optimizing SAP EWM solutions.
  • Experience integrating EWM with third-party software via custom interfaces.
  • Proficiency in writing Functional Specification Documents (FSDs) and managing project documentation.
  • Understanding of Warehouse Control Systems (WCS) and advanced EWM functionalities.
  • Ability to lead client workshops and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Experience in conducting onsite user training and support.
  • Leadership experience managing onshore and offshore teams.
  • Familiarity with cross-module SAP knowledge including MM, PP, SD, and FI.
Responsibilities:
  • Act as primary contact for EWM implementation and manage client relationships.
  • Conduct onsite workshops to gather and analyze warehouse requirements.
  • Define business processes and technical solutions collaborating with stakeholders.
  • Configure and implement inbound, outbound, and internal warehouse processes.
  • Develop and manage custom interfaces to connect EWM with third-party software.
  • Write Functional Specification Documents and provide technical insights.
  • Ensure smooth WCS integration for automated warehouse operations.
  • Conduct onsite training sessions for end-users.
  • Manage all project documentation including process flows, system configurations, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Identify and implement process improvements in warehouse operations.
  • Leverage advanced EWM concepts to enhance system efficiency and automation.
  • Collaborate with teams across MM, PP, SD, and FI modules.
  • Oversee and coordinate efforts between onshore and offshore teams.
