Product Owner – Transport Management System

We are seeking a dedicated and solution-oriented Product Owner for our Transport Management Systems (TMS) – a key role for those passionate about transport, logistics, and business development. You will work in a dynamic, future-focused, and international environment, contributing to optimizing our transport and logistics operations and creating real value for our customers and users.
Main requirements:
  • University or college degree in information systems, computer science, engineering, or similar.
  • Interest and understanding of logistics and supporting business systems (TMS and/or ERP, WMS or similar).
  • Experience in system administration and/or system implementation projects within IT departments or IT consulting.
  • Experience managing system applications including handling business requirements, development, and testing.
  • Customer, business, and goal orientation.
  • Self-driven with ability to work effectively individually and in teams.
  • Structured and well-organized mindset.
  • Ability to identify problems, evaluate consequences, and find solutions.
  • Communication skills and ability to act as a link between developers and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both oral and written.
Responsibilities:
  • Key person in new TMS implementation projects.
  • Participate in process design, system setup, and 'train the trainers' sessions.
  • Participate in integration projects.
  • Manage change requests.
  • Ensure investments create maximum value.
  • Lead and facilitate CAB meetings.
  • Assist system key users and TMS suppliers in translating business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Propose improvements actively.
  • Conduct testing of new functionalities with system key users.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain continuous dialogue with system key users about new requirements and functionalities.
  • Hold regular meetings with TMS vendors.
  • Collect and analyze feedback to continuously improve the product.
  • Align product development with business goals.
  • Prioritize development among various stakeholders.
  • Perform system setup and configuration (approx. 10% of the role).
  • Investigate faults/problems and improvement opportunities.
  • Support key users.
  • Ensure sufficient technical documentation.
