Onsite Technician

We are looking for a service-oriented onsite technician to work closely with users and contribute to a stable IT environment in a technically advanced organization within the defense industry in Linköping. The role requires full-time physical presence at the client's office and involves user support and ensuring smooth IT operations onsite.
Main requirements:
  • Previous experience in similar IT support roles
  • Good technical understanding and ability to prioritize in a changing work environment
  • Service-oriented and solution-focused approach
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
  • Valid B-driving license
  • Security clearance according to the Security Protection Act
  • Certain citizenship requirements depending on task nature
Responsibilities:
  • Support users onsite when remote support is insufficient
  • Install and deliver computers, phones, and other client-related IT equipment
  • Handle VIP cases and urgent needs with high professionalism
  • Document in ticketing systems and knowledge bases
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems
  • Contribute during major outages and security incidents
  • Provide support for printers and conference equipment
  • Ensure high quality in local onsite support delivery
