Centric seeks a technically driven System Administrator with good experience in UNIX and Linux environments for an assignment with a client in the defense sector in Karlskoga. You are a communicative and cooperative team player who enjoys interacting both internally and externally. Main requirements:
  • Relevant higher education or equivalent work experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in UNIX/Linux operations
  • Very good experience working with Redhat and Centos
  • Previous experience setting up new development environments including the above technologies
  • Very good ability to communicate in spoken and written Swedish and English
Responsibilities:
  • Systematic development of solutions, concepts, and ideas to drive improvements and innovation
  • Daily operation and long-term development of systems and infrastructure
  • Handling patching and updates, system troubleshooting, version updates, and technology evaluations to ensure stable and secure operations
  • Issue management including resolving faults and handling orders
  • Collaborating with a larger team of system administrators in Sweden to optimize and improve the IT environment
