We are seeking a laboratory engineer to join the Clinical Chemistry and Transfusion Medicine team at Region Gävleborg. The position focuses on quality assurance, method development, and support within a modernized and digitalized hospital laboratory environment. You will have the opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary team, participate in method improvements, and contribute directly to patient care quality.
Main requirements:
  • University degree in chemistry or natural sciences
  • Proficiency in Swedish language, both oral and written
  • Ability to lead and implement improvement and development projects
  • Competence in quality assurance of methods and controls
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
Responsibilities:
  • Lead and drive improvement and development projects
  • Responsible for and follow-up on controls, methods, and quality
  • Handle documentation
  • Participate in training and educating colleagues
  • Perform laboratory work independently and collaboratively
  • Monitor developments in the field
