Main requirements:
  • Secondary education or equivalent plus 4 years of relevant work experience
  • Or higher education in IT (e.g., computer engineering) or equivalent plus at least 2 years of relevant work experience
  • Very good knowledge of computers, peripherals, operating systems, networks, communication, and information security
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office or equivalent
  • Familiarity with issue management systems (e.g., Easit GO or ServiceNow)
  • Fluent communication in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
Responsibilities:
  • Ensure daily IT operations run smoothly
  • Troubleshoot and determine best fixes for errors
  • Serve as a local IT technician focusing on operations and development of local network environments and communication within buildings
  • Provide user support and assistance
  • Manage data communication, operations, and data security in larger network environments, sometimes global
  • Test new products and inform users about updates
  • Install and customize computers managing network communication such as routers, servers, and workstations
  • Work to secure IT operations, e.g., install firewalls
  • Install and adapt software to the network
  • Oversee technical aspects of IT equipment in conference areas such as video conferencing systems
  • Manage backups
  • Administer standard systems like mail and calendar
  • Administer backup, storage, and application servers
