IT Technician

We are looking for an IT Technician passionate about customer service to work as a consultant on assignment at our client in Solna. You will be part of a team of about 25 people, half located in Solna and the other half in a neighboring Nordic country. The role involves handling support tickets and calls via phone, email, and chat, resolving issues, and collaborating internally and with suppliers. This is a full-time position with a hybrid work model (3 days on-site, 2 days remote), with varying shifts between 06:45 and 18:00.
Main requirements:
  • 1-2 years experience in IT support
  • Broad knowledge and experience with Active Directory on-premises and Azure Active Directory
  • Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
  • Experience writing tickets in English while communicating with users
  • Understanding of ITSM and ITSM tools/technologies
  • Self-driven and able to work in a fast-moving environment
  • Excellent communication skills and service mindset
  • Ability to quickly overview tasks while focusing on details
  • Comfort with repetitive tasks
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently to improve team processes
  • Experience with Jira and/or ITIL framework is meritorious

  • Passion for IT and experience from service desk or IT support roles
Responsibilities:
  • Receive and respond to phone calls and emails arriving at the service desk
  • Provide first-line support for Active Directory related issues, including creating and escalating incidents
  • Act as Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for users
  • Analyze incidents, prioritize, and escalate to other groups
  • Verify solutions from suppliers and ensure solution documentation exists
  • Understand and communicate solutions to end-users
  • Coordinate and collaborate with all agents to ensure maximum use of team competence
Required hard skills:
  • IT support experience (1-2 years)
