IT Support Technician

Join Ocuco, a leading software company in optical industry solutions, as an IT Support Technician at our Strängnäs office. Provide high-quality customer support for our Optitec RS journal system and related IT environments, ensuring excellent service through phone, remote access, and written communication. Occasional customer visits for installations and training may be required.
Main requirements:
  • Educated in IT (YH, University level) or about 2 years of IT support experience covering client, server, network, and printers
  • Strong technical interest and ability to quickly acquire knowledge
  • Excellent Swedish language skills, both spoken and written
  • Experience in service desk roles is a merit
  • Previous experience in basic troubleshooting and client installations preferred
  • Valid driving license (Class B)
Responsibilities:
  • Respond to support tickets related to the Optitec RS journal system and associated services
  • Support client IT environments including installations and troubleshooting
  • Provide assistance mainly via phone, remote control, and written communication
  • Occasionally travel to customer sites for installations and user training
Required hard skills:
  • IT education or relevant IT support experience
  • Client, server, network, and printer support competence
  • Strong Swedish language proficiency
  • Driving license class B
Recommended hard skills:
  • Experience with MS SQL Server
  • Knowledge of Danish and Norwegian languages
