Techster Solutions is growing and looking for an IT Infrastructure Architect with 5+ years of experience to join their team. The role involves architecture and design responsibilities for large-scale national networks, working with public sector clients, and requires Swedish and English proficiency.
Main requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in strategy and architecture roles as an architect for large DWDM- and OTN networks within the last 20 years.
  • Documented experience of at least 2 years segmenting networks according to zone models with multiple equipment.
  • Fluent in spoken and written Swedish and English.
  • Resident in Sweden.
Responsibilities:
  • Specify requirements and initiate development initiatives with suppliers.
  • Architectural and design responsibility for nationwide networks.
  • Develop, compile, and describe technical roadmaps.
  • Develop, compile, and describe target architectures.
  • Ensure design development and realization aligns with requirements and identified target architecture.
  • Maintain design integrity throughout projects in close dialogue with project managers.
  • Evaluate results from prototypes.
  • Participate in information classification, system classification, and risk and vulnerability analysis.
  • Document architecture descriptions in text and graphical form.
  • Present architecture descriptions in IT architecture forum.
Required hard skills:
  • Experience in DWDM (Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing) and OTN (Optical Transport Network) large-scale network architectures.
  • Network segmentation based on zone models.
  • Technical roadmap and target architecture development.
  • Documentation and presentation of architectural designs.
