Professional Galaxy AB is seeking an IT Business Analyst with advanced data analysis skills and strong ability to act as a bridge between the business and IT development teams. The candidate should be proficient in SQL and comfortable handling large datasets, with experience in SAS/Python considered an advantage. The role involves converting business requirements into solution designs and supporting various testing phases, requiring good communication and teamwork skills.
Main requirements:
  • Advanced data analysis experience using SQL
  • Comfortable handling huge datasets
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of business terminologies to act as liaison between business and IT development
  • Functional background in Credit Risk is a plus
  • Ability to independently convert business requirements into high and low-level solution designs
  • Support for Unit Testing (UT), System Testing (ST), and end-to-end User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Ability to create functional test cases and validate results is advantageous
  • Good communication skills and agility in teamwork
  • Minimum 3 years of IT experience and 4 years of analyst experience
Responsibilities:
  • Analyze business requirements and convert into solution designs
  • Perform advanced data analysis using SQL and potentially SAS/Python
  • Act as barrier between business and IT teams to ensure clarity and alignment
  • Support Unit Testing, System Testing, and User Acceptance Testing
  • Create and validate functional test cases
