Engineer IT Workplace

We are looking for an Engineer IT Workplace to join our client's IT workplace delivery team, located in Liljeholmen, Stockholm. The role involves handling technical requirements, promoting automation, and ensuring high-quality IT workplace service deliveries to meet current and future needs. Strong supplier management skills are important as operation and maintenance are largely done by suppliers.
Main requirements:
- At least 5 years of technical execution experience within midrange systems
- At least 3 years of experience with coding, scripting, configuration, and command line shell
- At least 4 years of experience in Windows environment
- Experience in system design, creating models, and technical documentation
- Strong knowledge in one or more middleware technologies
- Good skills in multiple scripting languages
- Well versed in concepts such as midrange, database, firewalls, DNS, routing, proxy, Active Directory, network protocols, and IAM/A&A
- General knowledge of software for productivity, testing, development, and production environments
- Understanding of infrastructure, compute, network, and storage
Responsibilities:
- Develop, improve, maintain and implement IT solutions, integrations, and configurations aligned with business goals
- Specify IT workplace technical solutions both functionally and non-functionally according to architecture, security, operations, license and process management principles
- Create solution designs, deployment models, integration patterns, workflows from High-Level Design (HLD) to Low-Level Design (LLD) and System Software Design (SSD)
- Ensure documentation or technical solution for registers on the platform and its implementations
- Manage lifecycle management (LCM), cooperate with other requirement owners when introducing new software and technology
- Execute tasks according to the technical roadmap
- Plan, contribute to, and follow up on maintenance activities
- Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for IT workplace area with technical focus for projects within Bankgirot
- Communicate and collaborate with external publishers and suppliers regarding technical aspects such as patches, bugs, features, and understand their software roadmap and management
