Join DHL Freight Sweden as a Dispatcher/Transport Planner responsible for planning transport operations to and from Central Europe, Baltic states, and CIS. This role involves ensuring efficient traffic planning, securing daily load capacity, managing customer contacts, and maintaining transport quality and performance within a driven and professional team.
Main requirements:
- Three-year upper secondary education (gymnasial examen)
- Documented work experience as Transport Planner/Dispatcher or post-secondary logistics education (KY, university or similar)
- Excellent computer skills in MS Office, primarily Excel and Outlook
- Strong planning and organizational abilities
- Documented commercial/business acumen
- Good spoken and written Swedish and English skills
- Knowledge of Slavic languages, preferably Polish, is an advantage
- Flexible yet structured work style
- Stress resilient, capable of maintaining overview, prioritizing, and decision-making under pressure
Responsibilities:
- Traffic planning according to processes and instructions, actively working towards set KPIs
- Securing daily load capacity
- Sourcing spot/charter capacity through various channels
- Creating and maintaining customer contacts
- Communicating with all stakeholders in the transport process
- Calculating spot prices
- Reporting deviations
- Monitoring carrier performance and quality
- Resolving challenges affecting cost levels, quality, and performance
- Continuously seeking improvements within own work area
- Supporting and participating in Performance Dialog Board meetings
- Being available for on-call duty outside regular working hours and some weekend work
