The Data Scientist at Dun & Bradstreet Sweden AB uses advanced modeling, statistics, analytics, and visualization techniques to develop analytics solutions and solve customer problems. This role requires strong business acumen and the ability to communicate findings effectively to influence organizational approaches to business challenges.
Main requirements:
- Master's or Ph.D. degree in a quantitative or applied field (Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Operations Research, Mathematics, Engineering)
- 6+ years experience in data science roles with cross-company collaboration
- Hands-on experience with modern machine learning techniques
- Proficiency in programming languages: Python, R, SQL
- Experience in feature engineering, automation, network analysis, or Natural Language Processing
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience in banking and finance sector, especially credit scoring or credit bureaus (highly desirable)
- Fluency in written and spoken English and Swedish
Responsibilities:
- Participate in all aspects of modeling engagements including design, development, validation, calibration, documentation, approval, implementation, monitoring, and reporting
- Develop global analytic solutions and statistical models based on established best practices
- Research complex business issues and recommend solutions tailored to customer needs
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert on predictive models within Finance & Risk Solutions Europe Analytics team and consult with business users
- Identify business relevance of new methods and support prototyping, business cases, and go-to-market strategies
- Validate performance of existing quantitative risk models and recommend changes
- Drive timely retrieval of risk analytics data to develop algorithms meeting business needs
